Full-Time Position
Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and stitching machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner
– Ensure that printed materials are properly finished according to specifications
– Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet client specifications and adhere to quality standards.
– Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain production efficiency
– Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may arise during the production process
– Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and deliver high-quality products
– Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to safety standards
Skills:
– Excellent mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot problems with machinery
– 2 years’ experience of operating bindery machinery preferred but on-site training available
– Proficiently run the assigned equipment in a productive and safe manner
– Demonstrates effective communication and computer skills
– Able to work well in a team environment
– Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
– Excellent time management skills
– High school diploma or equivalent
